QuickConnect is the generic name used in the pyrotechnics industry. QuickPlugs is a trademarked name used by Cobra Firing Systems.
QuickConnect and QuickPlug electric matches are the same connector, and can be used interchangeably. While different OEMs may use different receptacles for their slats or modules, the concept is the same.

How much time can I save with muuxBRD QuickConnect slats?
QuickConnect slats and ematches will let you land much ematches and load more product in less time.
Watch this video to see a comparison of traditional ematches and QuickConnect ematches.
But aren’t the ematches more expensive?
While QuickConnect ematches do cost more, the price is coming down as they become mainstream.
But, even though they cost more they provide a positive return on the nominal cost increase.
If you can land ematches 4-5 times faster you save labor. If you are a display company, you can shoot more shows with fewer people.
Lastly, QuickConnect slats cost less upfront than traditional flying lead slats. When you spend more upfront there’s an opportunity cost and a time/labor penalty on every show with traditional ematches.
How do I wire QuickPlug ematches in parallel or series?
Three options, manually, slats or breakout boards.
Manually cut, strip, twist, and tape wires like you did with traditional ematches.
Use series or parallel slats to string together multiple slats and connect more ematches
Lastly, QuickSplit breakout boards keep the Quick in QuickPlugs. Allow you to connect QuickPlug ematches in series/parallel in seconds!
